Help! I can't find my wine!

This happens sometimes, but we may be able to find it. If it's in here, here's a few tips for sussing it out.

Is the wrong portfolio popping up? Similarly named wines may pop up first. Hit the "older posts" button to see if it's on the second page.

You may be using too many words to search. Many lists have minimal info for each winery, and may be lacking information like vintage, appellation, varietal and pretty much anything else you can think of. For instance, the Marques de Riscal line of Rioja wines is represented by only the word "Riscal" in the Republic portfolio. Try shortening the name that you search for, if possible.

Foreign-language punctuation can be tricky. Most wineries are listed without punctuation, but some are listed with. Searchbar is kinda dumb. Try searching both ways.

If it's still not popping up, it may not be on the portfolio lists. So where did it come from?

The distributor may not have updated their list recently, and new wines may not be on it. This happens frequently, as many wines or importers change distributors often. It also may be the case that the list itself is incomplete, and needs to be updated. I am working on this, presently.

The wine you are searching may be a retailer/restaurant exclusive. Some retailers and restaurants contract importers or wineries to directly send them wines that are otherwise unavailable in the Texas distribution network. You probably can't order these wines, and won't be able to add them to your list. Sorry.

Your wine may be distributed privately, or by an individual collector, or away from the prying eyes of the TABC.... but you probably can't have that wine either.

Please email me to correct any serious errors, such as wines missing or wines under the wrong distributor.
